This screenprint was inspired by my facination with electronic music and how the tempo and beat of the songs changes and tells a story over time. Equlalizers are a good example of this, because they are constantly changing. They are commonly used to alter the frequency response of an audio system using linear filters. But to everyday people in this sense...they just look cool when a song is playing. Why deadmau5 you ask? Deadmau5 is one of the more regonizable figures in this "electronic" genre, and also one of my favorites. Who better to design with all that in mind then the mau5?
